  • Cross Country Programs Combine to Boast Five USTFCCCA All-Academic Selections

    RINDGE, N.H. (February 15, 2017) – Junior Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.), senior Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) and senior B.J. Smith (Concord, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team, as well as freshmen Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) and Rebecca Zylak (Goffstown, N.H.) of the women’s team, have all earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, as announced late last week by the USTFCCCA. In addition, both the men’s and women’s cross country programs have been honored at the team level by the USTFCCCA All-Academic program.
  • Women’s Cross Country Places 16th at NCAA East Regional

    HOPKINTON, N.H. (November 5, 2016) – Freshman Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) finished 59th on Saturday afternoon, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Franklin Pierce at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Cormier finished well inside the top half of the 191-runner field to lead the Ravens to a 16th-place finish, out of 28 teams.
  • Women’s Cross Country Places 10th at Northeast-10 Championship

    EASTON, Mass. (October 22, 2016) – A pair of freshmen would be the team’s first two finishers on Saturday afternoon, as the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team finished 10th (of 15) at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Stonehill. For the Ravens, it represented an improvement of two positions over last season’s 12th-place finish.
  • Cross Country Picked Sixth (Men) and 12th (Women) in Northeast-10 Coaches’ Poll

(October 20, 2016) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team has been picked to finish sixth in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Championship, while the women have been selected 12th, as announced on Thursday afternoon, with the release of the Northeast-10 Pre-Championship Coaches’ Poll by the Conference office.
  • Women’s Cross Country Finishes 34th at NEICAAA Championships

    BOSTON (October 8, 2016) – After taking last weekend off, the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team returned to action on Saturday with a 34th place finish -- out of 35 New England teams from across all three divisions -- at the NEICAAA Championships at Franklin Park.

(September 26, 2016) – Senior Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office. In addition, freshmen Aidan Gilbride (East Kilbride, Scotland) and Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) have been named male and female Rookie of the Week, respectively.
  • Women’s Cross Country Places 11th at Anderson Invitational

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 24, 2016) – Freshmen Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) and Rebecca Zylak (Goffstown, N.H.) finished 37th and 38th respectively, to lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team on Saturday at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. The pair led the Ravens to an 11th-place finish among 21 teams at the meet.
  • Women’s Cross Country Takes Ninth at Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup

    HOPKINTON, N.H. (September 17, 2016) – Freshman Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) led the way with a 26th-place finish on Saturday morning, as the host Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team placed ninth, out of 11 teams, at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup. The meet was held at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds, which will also serve as host of the NCAA East Regional for the second straight year in November.
  • Hayes, Cormier Named Northeast-10 Cross Country Rookies of the Week

    RINDGE, N.H. (September 12, 2016) – Freshmen Tyler Hayes (Kings Park, N.Y.) and Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University cross country team have been named Northeast-10 Conference Men’s and Women’s Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the week ending on Sept. 11.

    NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (September 10, 2016) – Freshmen Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) and Rebecca Zylak (Goffstown, N.H.) took third and fourth place, respectively, on Saturday morning, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the Smith College Cross Country Invitational. Ultimately, the duo of New Hampshire natives led the Ravens to a third place finish at the 10-team meet.
  • Freshmen Lead Women’s Cross Country at Season-Opening Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals

    EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 2, 2016) – Freshmen stood as the team’s top two finishers on Friday afternoon, as Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) finished 58th and Rebecca Zylak (Goffstown, N.H.) placed 61st to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals. At the season-opening meet, the Ravens posted a victory over host Mount St. Mary’s, while suffering defeats at the hands of American, Maryland and Maryland, Baltimore County.
