SYRACUSE, N.Y. (February 27, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s tennis team was defeated by Le Moyne, 7-2, in Northeast-10 Conference play at Le Moyne on Saturday. With the loss, Franklin Pierce falls to 1-7 (1-7 Northeast-10), while Le Moyne improves to 2-4 (2-2 Northeast-10) with the victory. Sophomore Suzana Deronjic (Melrose, Mass.) and senior Monica Lavertu (Berlin, N.H.) each picked up wins in singles play for Franklin Pierce.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 17, 2009) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s tennis team defeated Pace, 5-4, in Northeast-10 Conference play in East Hartford, Conn. on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Suzana Deronjic (Melrose, Mass.) led the way for Franklin Pierce with wins in both first doubles and second singles. With the victory, Franklin Pierce improves to 1-6 (1-6 Northeast-10), while Pace opens the season 0-1 (0-1 Northeast-10) after not competing in the fall portion of the season.

Senior Bianca LaPointe (Plainfield, Conn.) picked up the lone point of the day for the Ravens.

(July 23, 2009) – 130 of Franklin Pierce University’s 276 student-athletes, who compete in Northeast-10 Conference sports have been recognized as members of the Conference’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2009 semester. The 130 Ravens are part of the 2,619 student-athletes from the NE-10’s 15 member institutions that earned a 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.
