Gabriela Demoner has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference
Weekly Honor Roll.RINDGE, N.H. (September 14,
2009) – Senior forward Gabriela Demoner
(Vitoria, Brazil) of the Franklin Pierce University
women’s soccer team has been named to the Northeast-10
Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sept. 13, as
announced Monday by the conference office.
Demoner scored three goals in Franklin Pierce’s only game of
the week, a 5-0 home win over Southern New Hampshire on Sept. 8.
She scored the game-winning goal in the 27th minute and followed
that with second-half goals in the 64th and 69th minutes to
complete her second hat trick of the season, as well as the sixth
three-goal game of her career.
On the season, Demoner leads the Ravens and the Northeast-10 in
goals (11) and points (24) through five matches on the season. Her
next point will match her entire offensive production of a year
ago.
The Ravens (4-2-0, 2-1-0 Northeast-10) return to the pitch on
Tuesday, Sept. 15, when they visit Saint Michael’s for a
Northeast-10 Conference contest. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at
Duffy Field at Doc Jacobs Complex in Colchester, Vt. Franklin
Pierce next plays at home on Sept. 22 against Bentley at 7 p.m.
