Jessie Phillips enters her second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce women's lacrosse program in 2012. She also serves as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the University's women's lacrosse program.
A three-time letterwinner in lacrosse at Vermont after losing her freshman season due to injury, Phillips came to Rindge for her collegiate coaching debut. She started every game over her final two seasons in Burlington and played a pivotal role on the backline for the Catamounts. Over those two seasons, she collected 26 ground balls and forced 21 turnovers. Phillips made seven appearances as a reserve in 2008. She was a three-time America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection during her career.
Originally from York, Maine, Phillips graduated from Vermont in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and is pursuing her master's degree in elementary education at Franklin Pierce.
Kristin Girouard enters her first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce women's lacrosse program in 2012. She also serves as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the University's field hockey program.
A four-year letterwinner in field hockey at Syracuse, Girouard played in 82 of the 86 games the Orange played in her four years on campus, missing only four games as a freshman. In her four years in the Salt City, she netted 15 goals (including five game-winners) and added four assists to total 34 points. Syracuse earned berths in the NCAA Championship in each of her final three seasons in orange and blue, including a trip to the national semifinal in her sophomore season of 2008. Girouard reached double digits in points twice, as she posted 5-3-13 as a sophomore and 6-0-12 as a junior. Successful in the classroom as well, she was a two-time selection to both the NFHCA National Academic Squad (2007, 2008) and the Big East All-Academic Team (2007-08, 2009-10).
Originally from Oak Hill, Va., Girouard graduated from Syracuse in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in international relations and is pursuing her master's in business administration in the energy & sustainability program at Franklin Pierce.
