Weber, Shopshire Lead Way, as Women’s Lacrosse Rallies Late to Wrap Up Campaign With 11-10 Win at Assumption
WORCESTER, Mass. (April 28, 2012) – A goal by senior attacker Brianna Nash (Oceanside, N.Y.) with 5:38 to play proved to be the game-winner, and freshman attacker Madeline Shopshire (Hyannis, Mass.) and junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) finished with four points each on Saturday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team to an 11-10 victory over Assumption in Northeast-10 Conference play at Multi-Sport Stadium. Freshman attacker Amy McNeil led Assumption with four goals in defeat.

Women’s Lacrosse Falls at No. 10 Bentley, 20-5
WALTHAM, Mass. (April 26, 2012) – Senior attacker Megan Wiggins led all players with six points on five goals and an assist on Thursday night to lead No. 10 nationally ranked Bentley to a 20-5 victory over the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team in Northeast-10 Conference play at Bentley University Turf Field. Senior attacker Brianna Nash (Oceanside, N.Y.) scored twice in defeat for Franklin Pierce.

Weber’s Four Not Enough, As Second Half Sinks Women’s Lacrosse Against No. 12 Merrimack, 14-9
RINDGE, N.H. (April 24, 2012) – Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) scored four goals on Tuesday night, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 14-9, by No. 12 nationally ranked Merrimack in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Senior midfielder Mary Pasquantonio led Merrimack with four goals in the victory.

Women’s Lacrosse Downed by No. 1 Le Moyne, 19-5
RINDGE, N.H. (April 21, 2012) – Senior goalkeeper Jillian Bolduc (Atkinson, N.H.) made seven saves on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 19-5, by No. 1 nationally ranked Le Moyne in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Before the game, the Ravens honored their six-player senior class: Bolduc, midfielders Mary Kate Stille (North Quincy, Mass.) and Christine McKay (Norwood, Mass.), attacker Brianna Nash (Oceanside, N.Y.) and defenders Kim Jaksina (Townsend, Mass.) and Kristen Norton (Sandown, N.H.).

Women’s Lacrosse Downed at No. 13 Saint Anselm, 17-7
MANCHESTER, N.H. (April 18, 2012) – Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) scored four goals on Wednesday night, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 17-7, by No. 13 nationally ranked Saint Anselm in Northeast-10 Conference play at Grappone Stadium. Freshman attacker Marissa Daly led all players with five goals in the win for Saint Anselm.

Women’s Lacrosse Felled at No. 7 New Haven, 23-2
WEST HAVEN, Conn. (April 12, 2012) – Senior midfielder Ashley Ferrandiz tallied a game-best eight points on three goals and five assists on Thursday afternoon to lead No. 7 nationally ranked New Haven to a 23-2 win over the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team in Northeast-10 Conference play at Kayo Field.

Second-Half Surge Comes Up Short, Women’s Lacrosse Clipped at SNHU, 19-15
MANCHESTER, N.H. (April 10, 2012) – Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) scored a career-best eight points on six goals and two assists on Tuesday night, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated on the road, 19-15, by Southern New Hampshire in Northeast-10 Conference play at Larkin Field. Sophomore attacker Ellie Morin led SNHU with eight points as well, also on six goals and two assists.

Women's Lacrosse Falls 19-5 to #6 Stonehill
RINDGE, N.H. (April 4, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team yielded six-straight goals to open Wednesday's game against No. 6 nationally ranked Stonehill and could not recover in dropping a 19-5 decision to the Skyhawks in Sodexo Field in Rindge. The Ravens dipped to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the Northeast-10, while Stonehill improved to 9-1 and 7-0 in league play.

Lamagdeleine, Weber Power Women’s Lacrosse Over SCSU, 17-5
RINDGE, N.H. (April 2, 2012) – Junior attacker Ashley Lamagdeleine (Westfield, Mass.) scored a game-high seven points on five goals and two assists on Monday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team to a 17-5 victory over Southern Connecticut State in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) added three goals and two assists for five points for the Ravens.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (March 31, 2012) – Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) finished with four points on two goals and two assists on Saturday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 24-7, by No. 2 nationally ranked Adelphi in Northeast-10 Conference play at Motamed Field. Senior attacker Erica Devito led Adelphi with eight points on four goals and four assists.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 29, 2012) – Senior midfielder Mary Kate Stille (North Quincy, Mass.) finished with a team-best four points on a goal and three assists on Thursday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 9-8, by Keene State in non-conference play at Sodexo Field. Junior midfielder Lauren Brown led Keene State with four goals.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 28, 2012) – Senior goalkeeper Jillian Bolduc (Atkinson, N.H.) and junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) have both been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on March 25, as announced Monday by the Conference office.

Strong First Half Starts Women’s Lacrosse Towards 8-4 Victory Over Saint Michael’s
RINDGE, N.H. (March 27, 2012) – Junior attacker Ashley Lamagdeleine (Westfield, Mass.), junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) and senior attacker Brianna Nash (Oceanside, N.Y.) all scored two goals each in the first half on Tuesday afternoon to build a 6-2 lead as the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team went on to a 8-4 victory over Saint Michael’s in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Senior goalkeeper Jillian Bolduc (Atkinson, N.H.) made 10 saves against 14 shots on goal at the other end of the field.

Weber, Shopshire Propel Women’s Lacrosse Past AIC, 12-9
RINDGE, N.H. (March 24, 2012) – Junior midfielder Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) poured in five goals and added an assist for six points, while freshman attacker Madeline Shopshire (Hyannis, Mass.) added six points of her own on three goals and three assists on Saturday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team to a 12-9 win over American International in the Northeast-10 Conference opener at Sodexo Field. Senior sisters Ashleigh and Courtney Szawlowski led AIC with four points each on three goals and an assist.

Lamagdeleine Nets Five More, Women’s Lacrosse Finishes Florida Trip With 14-10 Win Over Erskine
WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 21, 2012) – Junior attacker Ashley Lamagdeleine (Westfield, Mass.) scored five times on Wednesday afternoon to push her team-leading season total to 14 through three games and lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team to a 14-10 victory over Erskine in non-conference, neutral-site play at Richard L. Evans Field on the campus of Lake Howell High School. Alesia Jerrells led Erskine with six points on five goals and an assist in defeat.

(March 17, 2012) – Junior attacker Ashley Lamagdeleine (Westfield, Mass.) scored a game- and career-high six goals on Saturday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated, 19-12, by University of New England in non-conference, neutral-site play at Richard L. Evans Field on the campus of Lake Howell High School. Freshman midfielder Gina Newsome led the way for UNE with six points on five goals and an assist.

Jillian Bolduc, Kristen Norton, Mary Kate Stille Named 2012 Women’s Lacrosse Captains
RINDGE, N.H. (December 21, 2011) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team has announced that goalkeeper Jillian Bolduc (Atkinson, N.H.), defender Kristen Norton (Sandown, N.H.), and attacker Mary Kate Stille (North Quincy, Mass.) will serve as senior tri-captains for the 2012 season. The trio will look to lead the Ravens back to the postseason for the first time since 2009.
