PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 11, 2006) – Franklin Pierce won its first postseason tournament since 1992 as the third-seeded Ravens posted a 61-60 victory over top-seeded Philadelphia University in the championship game of the 2006 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Tournament at Holy Family University this evening.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 7, 2006) – Franklin Pierce senior forward Heather Jacobs (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference women’s basketball second team. The announcement, made over the weekend at the NE-10 Championships, comes after a vote of the 15 NE-10 women’s basketball head coaches.
