Michelle McConnell is currently in her third season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce volleyball team.
McConnell moved to the bench beginning in the fall of 2007 after a standout four-year career on the floor for Ravens. She holds the program's single-season record for digs with 573 in 2006 and also served up the seventh- and eighth-most aces in a single season with 48 and 47 in 2005 and 2004, respectively.
McConnell also ranks among the Ravens career leaders in several statistics, including second in aces (154) and digs (1258) and fourth in matches played (105). Three times in her 2006 senior season, she recorded over 30 digs in a match, each of which ranks in the top-10 all-time single-match performances in program history.
Originally from Elora, Ontario,
McConnell is a 2007 graduate of Franklin Pierce. She is currently
pursuing her masters in education at the university.
