RINDGE, N.H. (October 5,
2009) – Junior setter Pamela Walker (Chino
Hills, Calif.) of the Franklin Pierce University
volleyball team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference
Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Oct. 4, as announced
Monday afternoon by the conference office.
Walker tallied 66 assists in three matches last week to average
6.60 assists per set. Over 216 set attempts on the week, she was
whistled for just one ball-handling error. In addition to the
assists, Walker added 18 digs (1.80 per set), eight kills, three
block assists and one service ace.
On the season, Walker has generated 403 assists while playing in
all 17 matches for the Ravens (6.83 assists per set). Over 971 set
attempts, she has been whistled for only 11 ball-handling errors,
which works out to one error for every 88.27 set attempts. Walker
has also added 118 digs (2.00 per set) and 15 blocks (one solo) on
the season.
The Ravens (4-13, 1-4 Northeast-10) return to the court on
Wednesday, Oct. 7, when they return home to host Saint Anselm in a
Northeast-10 Conference contest. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
at the Fieldhouse in Rindge.
