Franklin Pierce Rowing Finishes 12th at Lowell Textile Regatta

Season-opening event for the Ravens rowers

RESULTS

 

RINDGE, N.H. (October 4, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s rowing team competed at the Lowell Textile Regatta on Sunday and its men’s varsity-four team finished 12th out of 27 teams in its respective event. It marked the first race of the 2010 fall season for the Ravens rowers.

The team consisted of Zach Goodman (Andover, Mass.) at cox, Dan Forget (East Lyme, Conn.) at stroke,  Tristan Paglieri (White Plains, N.Y.) at three, Joe LaCava (West Hartford, Conn.) at two and Jackson Deane (Cohasset, Mass.) at the bow. The team finished the race in a time of 22:39.421 and finished ahead of larger programs such as New Hampshire, Vermont and Hofstra.

The Ravens will next be in action on Saturday, Oct. 16, when they compete in the New Hampshire Championships.
