RINDGE, N.H. (May 16, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University track & field program has collected 14 All-East Region selections from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the indoor season, as announced on Monday by the USTFCCCA.
RINDGE, N.H. (May 15, 2018) – Graduate student Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) and freshman Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) will represent the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field program at the NCAA Championships, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the NCAA.
HANOVER, N.H. (May 12, 2018) – A mere seven-thousandths of a second separated first from third place in the 800 meters on Saturday, with the wild finish highlighting the second day of the NEICAAA Championships, hosted by Dartmouth. The Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team had two of the said top-three finishers in the event, as freshman Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) won it, followed by graduate student Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) in third.
HANOVER, N.H. (May 11, 2018) – Sophomore Jeff Reddy (Chester, N.H.) set a new school record on Friday on the way to All-New England honors in the 10,000 meters, as he was one of three competitors to represent the Franklin Pierce University men’s track & field team on the first day of the NEICAAA Championships, hosted by Dartmouth College.
RINDGE, N.H. (July 17, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced Andrew Klaus has been named the 12th head coach in the Division II era (since 1989) of the University’s softball program. Klaus will replace Hannah Griffin, who has resigned her position effective Aug. 3.
RINDGE, N.H (June 14, 2018) – Assistant coach and alum Cody Kauffman ’12 of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been selected to join the coaching staff of the USA Baseball Women’s National Team this summer, as announced earlier this spring by USA Baseball. Kauffman and the rest of the staff have already begun to build the team, and will then prepare the squad for World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s Baseball World Cup in August.
RINDGE, N.H. (June 11, 2018) – Senior Tom McGuckin (Clayton, N.J.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s ice hockey team has earned Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference honors for the winter season, as announced earlier this spring by the Conference office. He was among 67 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the NE10.
RINDGE, N.H. (June 5, 2018) – Senior Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.) and graduate student Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field teams have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced late last week by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). As a result of the selection, Gradijan advances to the Academic All-America ballot.
