David Maddock is in his first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team. He will assist Head Coach Craig Stewart with the team's goalkeepers, team preperation, strength and conditioning and will also serve as an academic advisor to the program.
Maddock is a product of the Newcastle United Football Club youth system and played goalkeeper at the city and county level in England up to the age of 18. Prior to Franklin Pierce, he served as a goalkeeper and conditioning coach for the Bayside club teams in Rhode Island. Maddock brings a wealth of soccer camp coaching experience with him to Rindge.
A 2002 graduate of Northumbria University, Maddock collected his bachelors degree in financial services. From there, he spent three years in the investment management industry, including time as a Qualified Investent Advisor for one of the United Kingdom's leading wealth management companies.
In 2006, Maddock received his
post-graduate certificate in education from the University of
Sunderland. As such, he is a qualified business teacher in the
United Kingdom and brings three years of teaching and high school
coaching experience to the Ravens. He is currently pursuing his
masters degree in education at Franklin Pierce, with a focus on
curriculum and instruction.
