Ian Clerihew Named New Men's Soccer Head Coach
RINDGE, N.H. (March 19, 2012) -- Franklin Pierce University Vice President/Director of Athletics Bruce Kirsh announced on Monday that Ian Clerihew has been named the new head coach of the men's soccer program, and will begin his duties effective on April 9. Clerihew brings extensive collegiate coaching experience from the Division I, II and III levels, including serving as head coach at Mars Hill College in North Carolina during the past three seasons.

Craig Stewart Resigns as Men's Soccer Head Coach
RINDGE, N.H. (February 22, 2012) -- Franklin Pierce University men's soccer head coach Craig Stewart has resigned from his duties at the school. He recently interviewed for the same position at Providence College, an NCAA Division I program which competes in the Big East Conference, and is expected to be named to that job in the near future.

Seven Ravens Earn Spots on Fall Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Teams
RINDGE, N.H. (January 30, 2012) – Seven Franklin Pierce University student-athletes have been named to the fall 2011 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team in their respective sports, as announced recently by the Conference office. Men’s soccer senior forward Victor Goncalves (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), senior goalkeeper Vinny Papageorgiou (Wilmington, Mass.) and senior back Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England); field hockey senior forward Tia Levins (Manchester, Maine) and senior goalkeeper Brittany Nyzio (Attleboro, Mass.); and women’s soccer senior midfielder Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan) and senior forward Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) were among 92 athletes across seven sports honored by the Northeast-10.

Trio of Men's Soccer Standouts Earn All-America Honors From NSCAA

(January 5, 2012) -- Three senior members of the Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team, Diego Tabares (Seekonk, Mass.), Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England) and Vinny Papageorgiou (Wilmington, Mass.) were recently named All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Tabares earned first-team honors, while Reilly was placed on the second-team and Papageorgiou took home third-team honors.

PENSACOLA, Fla. (December 1, 2011) -- The No. 2 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team saw its historic 2011 season come to a tough end on Thursday night with a 1-0 setback to No. 20 Lynn in the NCAA Division II Final Four at the Ashton Brosnaham Complex in Pensacola, Fla. The Ravens concluded their brilliant season with a 21-1-1 record, while Lynn improved to 14-4-3 and advanced to Saturday's NCAA national championship match.

(August 23, 2011) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team was picked to successfully defend its Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Tuesday, as announced in the league’s annual preseason coaches poll. The Ravens, who claimed both the NE-10 regular season and tournament championships last season, garnered 10 of a possible 14 first-place votes in this year’s poll and totaled 166 points overall to earn the first-place honor.
