Tim Murphy is in his first season as the Ravens’ graduate
assistant coach. He will work mainly with the Ravens defense and
special teams.
Murphy served as an assistant coach at St. Andrews Presbyterian
College, the past two seasons. At St. Andrews he served as the
defensive coordinator in 2008 and the offensive coordinator in
2009. In his tenure at St. Andrews he coached six all-conference
players and one freshman of the year.
Previous to his time at St. Andrews, he served as the top
assistant for the 2006 season at his alma mater, Merrimack College.
That year Merrimack finished ranked 8th nationally and second in
the Northeast 10. During that season Murphy coached three
all-conference players and one All-American.
Following his career as a four-year starting attackman for the
Warriors, Murphy spent the 2005 season as the assistant coach of
the University of Southern Maine as well as being the assistant at
his former Kennebunk High School.
A native of Kennebunk, ME, Murphy currently resides in Rindge, NH.
