Men's Lacrosse Finishes 2010 Season Ranked Fifth in Final NEILA Rankings; Highest Finish Ever for Ravens
RINDGE, N.H. (May 27, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team finished the 2010 season ranked fifth in the final edition of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Poll (NEILA), which was released earlier this month. It marks the highest finish for the Ravens in program history.

Ben McDannell Named to 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Lacrosse All-Rookie Team
RINDGE, N.H. (May 3, 2010) Franklin Pierce University freshman defender Ben McDannell (Morrisville, Pa.) was named to the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Mens Lacrosse All-Rookie Team on Monday afternoon, as announced by the league. McDannell appeared in all 13 games this season with 12 starts and helped anchor one of the top penalty-killing units in the Northeast-10. Franklin Pierce ranked second in the league this season in both fewest man-up goals allowed (11) and penalty-kill percentage (77.6%).

Men's Lacrosse Can't Hold Second Half in Dropping Tough 17-10 Decision to Pace on Saturday
RINDGE, N.H. (May 1, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team held a second-half lead, but could not hang on as it concluded the 2010 season with a tough 17-10 setback to Pace at Sodexo Field in Rindge on Saturday. The Ravens concluded the campaign with a 5-8 overall record and a 2-8 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference. Despite the setback, the Ravens set a program record for wins in a single season while also going an impressive 4-3 at home during the campaign.

Men's Lacrosse Snaps Losing Skid with Exciting 11-10, Last-Minute Win Over Assumption on Monday
The Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team snapped its losing streak on Monday night with a thrilling 11-10, last-minute win over Assumption at Sodexo Field in Rindge. Freshman attack Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) broke the 10-all tie by scoring the game-winning goal off a nifty feed from Matthew Leslie (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) with just 1:05 left to play in the game.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (April 24, 2010) -- The Franklin Pierce men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-4 decision at Adelphi on Saturday in Garden City, N.Y. With the loss, the Ravens fell to 4-7 overall and 1-7 in the Northeast-10, while the Panthers improved to 7-4 and 5-3 in league play.

(April 19, 2010) - The Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse team gave a respectable showing in Monday's 15-5 setback to Le Moyne, which entered the game as the nation's top-ranked team. The Ravens fell to 4-5 overall and 1-5 in the Northeast-10, while the Dolphins improved to 11-0 and 8-0 in league play. Monday's game was played at Sodexo Field in Rindge.

(April 13, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team battled Southern New Hampshire to the final whistle on Tuesday night, but the Penmen were able to use a fourth period goal to pull out a slim 5-4 win at Sodexo Field. Franklin Pierce fell to 4-4 and 1-4 in the Northeast-10, while SNHU improved to 4-6 and 2-4 in league play.

(March 24, 2010) Sophomore midfielder Ryan Dintaman (Northfield, Mass.) scored four goals and added an assist to total five points on Wednesday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team to a 12-10 victory over American International in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Junior attack Nate Wood (Binghamton, N.Y.) also scored five points for the Ravens on three goals and two assists. Graduate student midfielder Mike Szawlowski led American International with two goals and one assist for three points.

Brendan Cahill Named Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
RINDGE, N.H. (March 22, 2010) -- Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse attack Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) was named the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week on Monday for his efforts in helping to lead the Ravens to an 8-6 win at Mercy last Thursday. Cahill scored a pair of goals and assisted on three others to register a five-point afternoon for the Ravens.

PURCHASE, N.Y. (March 18, 2010) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse team ran its record to 3-0 in the young 2010 season after downing Mercy, 8-6, on Thursday afternoon in Purchase, N.Y. Mercy fell to 1-4 on the season. Junior midfielder John Scanlan (Great Neck, N.Y.) paced the Franklin Pierce offensive attack as he scored three goals, while freshman Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) had a five-point afternoon with two goals and three assists.

(March 13, 2010) Freshman attacker Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) scored three goals and added three assists and junior attacker Nate Wood (Binghamton, N.Y.) scored a game-high five goals on Saturday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team to 15-3 victory over Massachusetts Boston in non-conference action at Sodexo Field. In all, six different Ravens tallied three or more points in the contest.

Men's Lacrosse Opens 2010 Season with 12-6 Win Over Nichols in Debut for New Head Coach Rick Senatore
RINDGE, N.H. (March 6, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University mens lacrosse team opened its 2010 season with a satisfying 12-6 win over Nichols on Saturday at Sodexo Field in Rindge. The Ravens improved to 1-0, while the Bison dipped to 0-1. The win also came in the opener for new head coach Rick Senatore, who took over the reigns of the program following last season.
