Shaun Millerick will enter his first season as the head coach of the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team in 2017-18. He spent the 2017-18 academic year as an assistant coach with the team and as an Assistant Director within the University's Admissions office.
Millerick, who enters his first collegiate coaching job at Franklin Pierce, was a four-year member of both the ice hockey and baseball teams at Becker College, and is the son of Frank Millerick, Becker's Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics. Millerick served as a team captain for both squads as a senior. Over his career on the ice with the Hawks, he appeared in 31 games as a goaltender, posting a 3.89 goals-against average, an .884 save percentage, and an 8-12-2 record.
After graduating in 2014 with a degree in business administration, Millerick spent two more years at Becker before transitioning to Franklin Pierce. From 2014-16 at Becker, he served as an Admissions Representative, assistant men's ice hockey coach and assistant baseball coach.
