RINDGE, N.H. (December 16, 2010) -- The Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team is helping to spread a little cheer to the holiday season. Members of the squad donated money, which was used to buy gifts for a family in need. The gift donations were made to the local Salvation Army. The team raised more than $500, marking the second-straight year the group raised that total in helping brighten a family's holiday season.
Head coach Jaymie Harrington, along with team members T.J. Dineen, Kevin Quinn and Dale Adams, made the trip to the local organization to donate the presents that had been bought.
