Ben Rosenfeld enters his first season on the men's basketball coaching staff at Franklin Pierce University in 2009-10. He comes to Rindge after spending the previous three seasons on the boys basketball coaching staff at The Winchendon School in Winchendon, Mass.
Rosenfeld was an assistant coach for basketball at the preparatory school, while also serving as the head junior varsity coach for the 2006-07 season. He assisted in planning and running team practice sessions, game preparation and conditioning workouts. Other duties Rosenfeld handled at the school, included: video breakdown, communicating with college coaches, recruiting prospective student-athletes to the school, building and maintaining the Winchendonbasketball.com website. He also served as the junior varsity soccer coach and American Culture teacher at Winchendon.
A 2006 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst,
Rosenfeld served as a student manager for the men's basketball
program from 2004-06. He helped coordinate summer camps and coaches
clinics, while helping to upkeep practice and game facilities.
Rosenfeld earned his bachelor of science degree in sport
management from UMass. He currently resides in Winchendon, Mass.
