(November 19, 2009) – Senior forward Dan Drinkwater scored the game-winning goal just 2:51 into the game as part of a three-goal opening period that send Worcester State on its way to a 4-1 victory over the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in non-conference play at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Freshman forward Jonathan Schanke (Wallingford, Conn.) scored the lone goal of the game for Franklin Pierce.

Senior forward Ryan DiBartolomeo tallied a goal and an assist in the draw for Southern New Hampshire.

(November 14, 2009) – Freshman forward Jonathan Schanke (Wallingford, Conn.) and sophomore forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass.) each scored a goal on Saturday afternoon as the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team played to a 2-2 tie against Nichols in non-conference play at Levy Rink. Sophomore forward Zach Hendrickson scored the game-tying goal 5:47 into the third period for Nichols.

Freshman forward Jason Pietrasiak scored twice and added an assist for Johnson & Wales in defeat. The game was the season-opener for both teams.
