WINCHENDON, Mass. (November 19, 2009) Senior forward Dan Drinkwater scored the game-winning goal just 2:51 into the game as part of a three-goal opening period that send Worcester State on its way to a 4-1 victory over the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in non-conference play at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Freshman forward Jonathan Schanke (Wallingford, Conn.) scored the lone goal of the game for Franklin Pierce.

Ice Hockey Plays To 4-4 Draw Against Southern New Hampshire
WINCHENDON, Mass. (November 17, 2009) Sophomore forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass.) scored two goals on Tuesday night as the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team played to a 4-4 tie at home against Southern New Hampshire in Northeast-10 Conference play at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Senior forward Ryan DiBartolomeo tallied a goal and an assist in the draw for Southern New Hampshire.

Ice Hockey Skates To 2-2 Tie At Nichols
HARRISVILLE, R.I. (November 14, 2009) Freshman forward Jonathan Schanke (Wallingford, Conn.) and sophomore forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass.) each scored a goal on Saturday afternoon as the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team played to a 2-2 tie against Nichols in non-conference play at Levy Rink. Sophomore forward Zach Hendrickson scored the game-tying goal 5:47 into the third period for Nichols.

WESTFIELD, Mass. (November 12, 2009) Sophomore forward Pat Nelson scored twice, including the game-winning goal, on Thursday night to lead Westfield State to a 6-3 victory over the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in non-conference play at Amelia Park Arena. Senior forward Phil LaBreck (Thornton, N.H.) and freshman forward Roscoe Sweeney (Falmouth, Mass.) each tallied a goal and an assist in defeat for Franklin Pierce.

Carr Named Northeast-10 Conference Freshman Of The Week
RINDGE, N.H. (November 11, 2009) Freshman forward Michael Carr (South Boston, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 8, as announced Wednesday by the conference office. In addition, sophomore forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass.) has been named to the conferences Weekly Honor Roll.

Ice Hockey Falls, 5-1, At Wentworth
BOSTON, Mass. (November 6, 2009) Junior defenseman Kyle Richardson scored the game-winning goal at the 10:13 mark of the first period on Monday night, as Wentworth Institute of Technology defeated the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team, 5-1, in non-conference action at Matthews Arena. Sophomore forward Nathaniel Schursky (Scottsdale, Ariz.) scored the only goal of the game for Franklin Pierce in defeat.

Ice Hockey Falls At Fitchburg State, 3-0
FITCHBURG, Mass. (November 7, 2009) Freshman forward John Vets scored a goal and added an assist on Saturday night to lead Fitchburg State to a 3-0 victory over the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in non-conference play at Wallace Civic Center. Sophomore goaltender Ben Siok (Holden, Mass.) made 31 saves for Franklin Pierce in defeat.

Ice Hockey Rallies Past Johnson & Wales, 5-4, In Overtime On Opening Night
WINCHENDON, Mass. (November 6, 2009) Freshman forward Michael Carr (South Boston, Mass.) stuffed home a rebound for his second goal of the night with just over three seconds remaining in overtime on Friday night to give the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team a 5-4 victory over Johnson & Wales in non-conference play at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Freshman forward Jason Pietrasiak scored twice and added an assist for Johnson & Wales in defeat. The game was the season-opener for both teams.
