RINDGE, N.H. (February 28, 2009) Five different players recorded two points each on Saturday afternoon to lead sixth-seeded Stonehill to a 5-0 victory over the third-seeded Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Five different players scored goals for Stonehill. Freshman goaltender Ben Siok (Holden, Mass./St. Johns Shrewsbury) made 31 saves for Franklin Pierce in defeat.

Ice Hockey To Host Stonehill In First Round Of Northeast-10 Conference Championships
RINDGE, N.H. (February 27, 2009) The third-seeded Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team will host a postseason game for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon, when it plays host to sixth-seeded Stonehill in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. Faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at The Winchendon School Ice Arena in Winchendon, Mass. The winner advances to play in a semifinal contest on Wednesday, March 4.

Ice Hockey Rallies To 2-2 Tie In Season Opener At Westfield State
WESTFIELD, Mass. (November 8, 2008) Freshman forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass./Archbishop Williams) scored the tying goal with 4:27 remaining in regulation on Saturday night as the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team rallied from a two-goal deficit to force a 2-2 tie against Westfield State in front of a standing room only crowd of 1, 063 at Amelia Park Ice Arena in the season-opening game for both teams. The contest marked the first varsity ice hockey game in 20 years for Westfield State.

Newly promoted head coach Jaymie Harrington and the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team are very excited to welcome ice hockey alumni and friends back to campus for Franklin Pierce Ice Hockey Alumni Day on November 1, 2008. The 2007-08 event was a great success and the coach hopes to build on that momentum as the team looks for continued growth in the Northeast-10 and ECAC Northeast Conferences.

Franklin Pierce Promotes Harrington to Head Ice Hockey Coach
RINDGE, N.H. (June 24, 2008) Franklin Pierce University announced the resignation of Scott Loiseau as head mens ice hockey coach and assistant baseball coach and promoted assistant coach Jaymie Harrington to head coach of the mens ice hockey program. The announcement was made today by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University, and confirmed by President Dr. George J. Hagerty.
