Franklin Pierce Ice Hockey at Saint Anselm Postponed
RINDGE, N.H. (January 7, 2009) - Tonight's Franklin Pierce ice hockey contest at Saint Anselm College has been postponed due to the winter storm affecting the area into the night. The Northeast-10 Conference clash at Sullivan Arena in Manchester will be made up on Tuesday, February 3, at 7 p.m.
Franklin Pierce (3-5-2, 1-0-0 NE-10, 2-3-2 ECAC-NE) is now scheduled to return to action on Saturday, when it hosts Nichols University in an ECAC-Northeast matchup at The Winchendon School Ice Rink at 7 p.m. Today's postponement is the Ravens second-straight contest lost due to weather. Franklin Pierce will make up its first postponement on Tuesday, January 13, when it hosts Saint Michael's College for a Northeast-10 contest at 7 p.m.
Franklin Pierce has not played since a 3-3 overtime tie at Johnson & Wales University back on December 10.
