Ice Hockey Alumni Day Scheduled for November 1
RINDGE, N.H. - Newly promoted head coach Jaymie Harrington and the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team are very excited to welcome ice hockey alumni and friends back to campus for Franklin Pierce Ice Hockey Alumni Day on November 1, 2008. The 2007-08 event was a great success and the coach hopes to build on that momentum as the team looks for continued growth in the Northeast-10 and ECAC Northeast Conferences.

Franklin Pierce Promotes Harrington to Head Ice Hockey Coach
RINDGE, N.H. (June 24, 2008) – Franklin Pierce University announced the resignation of Scott Loiseau as head men’s ice hockey coach and assistant baseball coach and promoted assistant coach Jaymie Harrington to head coach of the men’s ice hockey program. The announcement was made today by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University, and confirmed by President Dr. George J. Hagerty.

Ice Hockey Team Holds Year-End Awards Banquet
RINDGE, N.H. (April 16, 2008) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s ice hockey team formally concluded the 2007-08 season with the team’s year-end banquet, held on Monday evening. Head coach Scott Loiseau announced the team’s 2007-08 award winners, as well as introduced next season’s captains.

KEARNEY. Neb. (March 24, 2008) – Franklin Pierce University, ranked 18th in the final regular season USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division II poll, will make its debut at the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Elite Eight against No. 9 University of Alaska Anchorage on Wednesday at 1 p.m. (EDT). The University of Nebraska-Kearney is hosting the Women’s Elite Eight for the second-straight year in its Health & Sports Center.
