BREWSTER, Mass. (October 20, 2009) The Franklin Pierce University golf team finished 29th out of 40 teams at the 2009 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship over the past two days at the 36-hole Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. on Cape Cod. The Ravens shot a combined 662 (+85) over the two rounds of the championship, which was sponsored by Cleveland Golf and Srixon, two of the major brand names in the game.

(September 21, 2009) Senior Peter Panopoulos (Rindge, N.H.) shot a second-round 77 on Monday afternoon to finish with a two-day total of 154 and lead the Franklin Pierce University golf team to a team score of 640 and 12th place finish out of 17 teams at the Northeast Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Post at Wintonbury Hills Golf Club. Panopoulos 154 put him in a four-way tie for 19th overall.
