Nathaniel Milevskiy completed his fifth season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce field hockey team in 2009.
Born and raised in Cairns, Australia, Milevskiy grew up around top-level field hockey as his sister, Letitia, represented Australia nationally, including tours of both Malaysia and Singapore. Milevskiy would follow in his sister's footsteps and go on to become the youngest person to play in Cairns' top men's field hockey division, which he would later lead in scoring.
After arriving at Franklin Pierce, Milevskiy took his knowledge of the game to the broadcast booth and served as the voice of the field hockey program for WFPC-LP 105.3 FM. From there, former Head Coach Judy Heddy quickly discovered his eye for the game and moved him to the sideline.
Milevskiy's primary responsibilities include working with the program's goalkeepers. In 2008, his work paid dividends for the Ravens, as Kristin Tormollan captured Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, First-Team All-Northeast-10 and Northeast-10 All-Rookie honors under his tutelage.
A 2008 graduate with a bachelors in history, Milevskiy served as WFPC-LP 105.3 FM's manager and also contributed as a member of both the Franklin Pierce Fire Company and Franklin Pierce Emergency Medical Services during his time on-campus as an undergraduate.
Milevskiy currently resides in
Winchendon, Mass., where he serves as a firefighter and emergency
medical technician.
