Stephanie Howard completed her first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce field hockey team in 2009.
Howard made the transition to the sideline after a four-year career on the field for the Ravens. In 74 games in crimson and grey over four seasons, Howard seven goals and eight assists for 22 points. A contributer at both ends of the field, her career culminated with a senior season in 2008 in which she tied for ninth in the Northeast-10 Conference in defensive saves. At the conclusion of the season, Howard was selected to represent Franklin Pierce at the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game in Louisville, Ky.
While in Rindge, Howard also played four years of softball for Franklin Pierce, including a senior season in which she led the team in batting average (.257, 27-for-105), doubles (6), home runs (2), runs batted in (15), slugging percentage (.371), walks (15), on-base percentage (.344) and sacrifice flies (2).
