Brittany Fleck enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University field hockey program in 2017.
A four-year letterwinner and goalkeeper at the University of Maine (bio), where she was teammates with Franklin Pierce head coach Zoe Adkins, Fleck makes her first collegiate coaching stop with the Ravens, though she has been active at the high school level since her time in Orono. Prior to that, she spent two seasons as the goalkeeper coach at Nokomis Regional High School (Maine).
Fleck was a four-year starter in goal as an undergraduate at Maine, where she earned All-America East Conference Second Team honors as a junior in 2010, when she backstopped the Black Bears to an appearance in the semifinal round of the America East Championship. She also helped Maine to a semifinal appearance as a freshman in 2008, when she earned America East All-Championship Team accolades. As a senior, Fleck landed on the NFHCA National Academic Squad for her work in the classroom.
Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Fleck is a 2012 graduate of the University of Maine, with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. She is pursuing her master's degree in sports management at Franklin Pierce.
