Tia Levins Named To Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll
Sophomore tallies first three career goals

RINDGE, N.H. (September 21,
2009) – Sophomore forward Tia Levins
(Manchester, Maine) of the Franklin Pierce University
field hockey team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference
Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sept. 20, as announced
Monday by the conference office.
Levins tallied three goals to help lead the Ravens to a 2-0 record
last week. At Saint Anselm on Wednesday afternoon, she made her
first collegiate start and scored the first two goals of her
career, including the game-winner. Levins also notched the
game-winning goal on Saturday afternoon against American
International.
The three goals were the first points of her collegiate career
after she appeared in 10 games as a reserve in her freshman
campaign last season.
The Ravens (3-5, 1-1 Northeast-10) return to the field on Tuesday,
Sept. 22, when they host Saint Michael’s in a Northeast-10
Conference contest. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at Sodexo Field in
Rindge.
