Baseball Announces Changes to Weekend Schedule
Ravens and Golden Lions to meet twice on Sunday
RINDGE, N.H. (March 2, 2012) – The No. 17/17 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team has announced changes to its upcoming weekend series at Dowling. Most notably, Saturday's doubleheader has been postponed, due to impending wet weather on Long Island.
Originally scheduled as a three-game weekend series, one game has been cancelled and the two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Both contests are scheduled to be nine-inning affairs, and will still be played at Golden Lions Field in Brookhaven, N.Y.
