Franklin Pierce In Summer Baseball
Ravens Hone Skills at Summer Baseball Leagues Throughout the Country

Derek Ingui is committed to play for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox
of the Cape Cod League in 2009.Head Coach Jayson King has had
great success in placing his players at Franklin Pierce in some of
the prestigious summer baseball leagues in the Northeast.
Former Ravens first baseman Mal Higgins started off the list of
Ravens when he suited up for the Central Mass Collegians of the New
England Collegiate Baseball League in 1999. Former Ravens
lefthander Justin Blood was the first Franklin Pierce player to
play in the renowned Cape Cod League in 2000.
"The more challenges our players can get by playing quality
baseball the more it allows them to become more complete players,"
said King. "Playing summer baseball, especially for players in New
England, is key just for the fact of getting more playing time and
for those with an opportunity to move onto professional baseball it
allows them to face top-notch talent."
