No. 12/20 Baseball Splits Doubleheader With Molloy
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 19, 2010) Junior left fielder Mike Munoz (Bronx, N.Y.) and sophomore designated hitter Isaac Wenrich (Westlawn, Pa.) each recorded two singles on Friday to lead the No. 12/20 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team to a 5-4 victory over Molloy in the first game of a neutral-site, non-conference doubleheader at NSU Baseball Complex. Molloy picked up a 1-0 victory in the second game, as sophomore right-hander Justin Jorgensen tossed a three-hit shutout. Both games were seven-inning affairs.

No. 12/20 Baseball Falls at Lynn, 9-6
BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 17, 2010) Sophomore catcher Mike Dowd (East Bridgewater, Mass.) drove in three runs on Wednesday afternoon, but the No. 12/20 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team dropped a 9-6 decision to defending national champion Lynn in non-conference play at McCusker Sports Complex. Junior shortstop Johnny Broderick went 2-for-5 with a three-run double in the victory for Lynn.

No. 12/20 Baseball Falls at Nova Southeastern, 12-6
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 16, 2010) Senior second baseman Cody Kauffman (Blue Bell, Pa.) went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run on Tuesday night, but the No. 12/20 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball was defeated by Nova Southeastern in non-conference play at NSU Baseball Complex. Junior first baseman Dustin Maggs hit 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, drove in three runs and scored twice in the victory for Nova Southeastern.

Mike Adams Named Northeast-10 Co-Pitcher of the Week; Baseball Ranked No. 12/20 Nationally
RINDGE, N.H. (March 16, 2010) Graduate student right-hander Mike Adams (Orchard Park, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on March 14, as announced Monday by the conference office. In addition, senior right fielder Phil Hendricks (Pittsfield, Maine) has been named to the conferences Weekly Honor Roll. In the national polls, Franklin Pierce (9-1, 0-0 Northeast-10) is now ranked 12th and 20th.

Macias Tosses No-Hitter, No. 14/20 Baseball Collects Wins Over Nyack and Saint Michaels
LANTANA, Fla. (March 15, 2010) Junior right-hander Jose Macias (Bronx, N.Y.) threw a no-hitter on Monday afternoon to lead the No. 14/20 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team to an 11-0 victory over Saint Michaels in neutral-site, non-conference play at Santaluces Sports Complex. Earlier in the day, junior third baseman Derek Ingui (Sterling, Mass.) clubbed a two-run home run as the Ravens rallied from a 4-2 deficit to defeat Nyack, 5-4.

No. 14/19 Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader From Felician, 5-4 and 16-14
LANTANA, Fla. (March 14, 2010) Senior right fielder Phil Hendricks (Pittsfield, Mass.) drove in three runs in the first game and sophomore catcher Mike Dowd (East Bridgewater, Mass.) hit a three-run home run in the second game on Sunday afternoon to lead the No. 14/19 Franklin Pierce University to a neutral-site, non-conference doubleheader sweep of Felician at Santaluces Sports Complex. The Ravens won the first game, 5-4, and took the second game (a seven-inning contest), 16-14.

Near-Perfect Pitching Leads No. 14/19 Baseball Over Caldwell, 1-0
LANTANA, Fla. (March 13, 2010) Graduate student right-hander Mike Adams (Orchard Park, N.Y.) threw eight shutout innings, allowed one hit and struck out six on Saturday afternoon to lead the No. 14/19 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team to a 1-0 victory over Caldwell in non-conference, neutral-site play at Santaluces Sports Complex. The one hit was the only baserunner allowed by the Ravens on the day, as Franklin Pierce pitching faced just 28 batters.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (March 7, 2010) Sophomore catcher Mike Dowd (East Bridgewater, Mass.) went 2-for-4 with a walk, drove in two runs and scored twice to lead the No. 15/17 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team to a 9-1 victory over Adelphi in the second game of a non-conference doubleheader at William J. Bonomo Memorial Field on Sunday afternoon. Senior right fielder Justin Ciamillo went 3-for-3 and scored a run to lead Adelphi to a 2-0 win in the first game. Both games were of the seven-inning variety.

(March 6, 2010) Junior right-hander Jose Macias (Bronx, N.Y.) threw eight scoreless innings and struck out 13 in the first game, and freshman right-hander Joe Flynn (Plymouth, Mass.) threw eight innings, allowed one run and struck out 10 in the second game on Saturday afternoon as the No. 15/17 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from Nyack at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field. The Ravens won the first game 4-0 and took the second game 11-1.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 5, 2010) Four players drove in two runs apiece on Friday night to lead the No. 15/17 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team to an 11-3, season-opening victory over Nyack in non-conference play at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field. The Ravens racked up 13 stolen bases in the contest, while being caught only twice. Sophomore catcher Mike Dowd (East Bridgewater, Mass.) clubbed a two-run home run in the fourth inning.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 3, 2010) The No. 15/17 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University baseball team has announced changes to its weekend schedule. Originally scheduled to be on the road all weekend, the Ravens will now play at home both Friday and Saturday.

RINDGE, N.H. (January 6, 2010) Sophomore catcher Mike Dowd (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and junior outfielder Derek Ingui (Sterling, Mass.) have been selected as East Region Preseason All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association, as announced in the Jan. 8 issue of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. In addition, junior pitcher Brian Maloney (Brockton, Mass.) was named as a player to watch in the East Region, while graduate student first baseman Mike Augustine (Kingston, N.Y.) was selected as a newcomer to watch.
